This 2 disc program runs 4+ hours with emphasis on
expanding reinforcement training beyond food and clickers.
Ted's lecture is packed with answers to questions, includes
solutions to specific training problems, and shows the
practical application of behavior shaping techniques with
live demonstrations and video examples. Some questions that
Ted addresses are aggression management in complex
situations and stressful environments, desensitization,
avoiding show discrimination, increasing intensity (good
attitude), and more. His live demonstrations cover lagging,
forging, stays, placement of reinforcement, distraction
training, aggression management, building thresholds, and
fading signals.
This lecture was part of the "Proof Positive" seminar
program recorded in 1997 as a sequel to the 1996 "Power of
Positive Training" video series featuring Ted utmer, Leslie
