teaching sections that appear in dark print throughout the
manual are also part of the instruction handouts for
students. The handouts that we are currently using in our
program are located at the back of this manual. They are
perforated and can be removed and reproduced if you would
like to use them as handouts in your classes. Family Dog 1
is a beginning level class designed for new dog owners and
others who want to teach their dog household manners, learn
more about canine behavior and learn how to solve common
behavioral problems. The program is based on scientific
